A large and fun period plafonnier shade made of cased opaline glass with a satin finish, a graduated orange ‘spritzdecor’, and decorated all around with screenprinted polychrome parrots and a frieze of leaves to the top rim. Made during the 1930s or thereabouts, probably in what was, then, Czechoslovakia.
Complete with original hanging hooks and three lengths of decorative patinated brass/bronze chain. Will require a ceiling hook and existing bulb socket to install.
