A vintage original poster with bold graphics and colours advertising the ‘Gaudimax Ball’ for young people at Munich’s once-prestigious Regina-Palast-Hotel (which closed in 1975). It was designed by Munich-based poster artist, Fritz Kittsteiner, and dates to the late 1960s.

The poster has a playful 1960s countercultural edge, with a barefooted, unshaven man in a barrel toying with flowers, executed in a rough, scratchy style.

It was printed by Markgraf Druck, Munich.
