A good-sized vintage Hamadan runner rug with a floral design, and an incredibly soft, dense hand-knotted silk-wool blend pile with a fine lustre. The predominant colours are red and cream, with accents of blues, browns and pinks.
The rug was handmade in Iran, probably Darjazin, in the 1970s or thereabouts.
