A pair of large and ornate photo frames comprising wrought iron brackets decorated all over with hand-beaten decoration and adorned with foliage and flowers. Made in France in the 1920s or thereabouts, in a manner popularised by designers like Edgar Brandt and lighting producers like Muller Frères.
Each are complete with glass panes that measure 14cm x 9cm.

Condition
Some surface rust and rubbing to the original black finish, but preserved from further oxidisation by a light coat of museum-grade microcrystalline wax. Glass is a little rough to the edges. Otherwise, excellent and ready to place.
