An understated mid-century floor lamp with a heavy plectrum-shaped base of cast iron with its original wrinkly paint, a long polished brass stem with a little height adjustability, and two gooseneck arms, each carrying a lamp-holder. We’ve not been able to trace a manufacturer, but we’d had a small handful over the decades, and they’ve all been from Denmark.
The lamp has been dismantled, cleaned and rewired with a good length of premium Italian double-insulated 3-core cable with a vintage-style cream braid, and is supplied with a 3-pin UK plug.
The lamp accepts two B22 bayonet cap bulbs. The shades in the first image are for illustration only, and are not included in the sale.
Vintage 1950s Danish 2-Arm Brass & Cast Iron Floor Lamp w/ Plectrum Shaped Base
Condition
Some wear to the black paint on the base, and to the lacquer finish to the polished brass, as you’d expect after more than half a century of use. Clean and ready to use.
