A very large pottery vase by Tunisian studio artist and Institut Supérieur des Beaux Arts de Sousse lecturer, Hanen Ben Salah, comprising a tall cylindrical terracotta form decorated all over with various fish carved into the surface, with carved vertical lines so dense it almost approaches faceting, glazed to the exterior with a muted deep blue and a warm stone colour to the interior.
Signed to the base, ‘Ben Salah Hanen’.
