A classic vintage pendant lamp from German lighting firm, Doria Leuchten; a heavy globe of mouth-blown glass decorated by rolling the molten glass in large chips of glass and fusing them to the surface, creating a highly textured and random pattern that casts out interesting shadows and refraction. It is capped off with polished metal fittings. It dates to the early- / mid-1970s.
The lamp has been rewired with an Italian-made Bakelite lamp-holder and a good length of 2-core black cable.
The lamp accepts a single E27 Edison screw bulb.
