An antique (or near-antique) table lamp in the form of a candelabra, with two decorative hand-wrought symmetrical scrolled arms topped with oak-leaf bobeche that conceal the original lamp-holders. The same motif is used in the centre of a lamp, at the union of the two scroll arms, with a spike between them. The lamp was made in France in the 1920s.
It bears some of its original paint – green with gold highlights – but this has been worn and distressed over the years.
The lamp has been dismantled, cleaned and rewired to modern safety standards, with an earth junction concealed inside the lamp, a generous length of double-insulated 3-core twisted cable with a period-style cream braided sheath, and a 3-pin UK plug.
Each bulb can be switched individually, with patinated brass push-button switches to the rear of the lamp. The lamp accepts two B15 SBC (small bayonet cap) bulbs.

Original paint present, but attractively distressed. Metal surface stabilised with museum-grade microcrystalline wax. Cleaned, rewired, and ready to use.
