A striking vintage vase of bulbous, shouldered form, with hand-painted abstract decoration in a classic mid-century palette of black, white and yellow. It was designed in the early- to mid-1960s by Inger Waage (1923-1995) for Norwegian earthenware factory, Stavangerflint AS.
It is fully marked to the base with the factory backstamp, and Waage’s ‘I.W.’ initials.
