An original vintage globe-shaped pendant lamp of mouth-blown opalescent glass with a graduated ombre effect, textured to the lower half with four large indents and a drip-like protuberance in golden amber glass, and capped off with a large chromed gallery. It was made on the island of Murano, Italy, in the early- to mid-1970s. The design often attributed to Vetreria Mazzega.
The lamp has a generous length of new 2 core cable and an Italian-made Bakelite lamp holder.
The lamp accepts a single E27 Edison screw bulb.
