A scarce bowl pendant of a good size, with a moulded prismatic shade designed to look like a traditional French bag chandelier, supported by a handmade fitted frame of solid bronze with a rich gilt finish. It dates to around the 1920s, and will likely be English or French.
The prismatic glass is highly detailed, extremely eye-catching, is considerably easier to dust than a traditional bag chandelier, and gives a beautifully even spread of light when lit. Comes with three welded gilt bronze chains.
