A standout cascade lamp with three very large mouthblown gold-amber glass shades of waisted form with screenprinted spiral decor in black, with brassed metal fittings. They attach to a white-lacquered ceiling rose/spacer with brass accents. It was made in Italy in the mid-1970s.
The lamp has been dismantled, cleaned and rewired with generous lengths of premium Italian vintage-style twisted cable with an eye-catching black and white zigzag Rayon braid. The current maximum drop is 140cm, making it ideal for a tall room or hallway stairwell, but it would be a straightforward job to shorten the drop if required.
Each shade takes one E27 Edison Screw bulb. Because the shades are transparent, we would recommend using low wattage traditional-style decorative bulbs, frosted opal-white globe bulbs, or crown gold bulbs (bulbs with reflective gold tips that reflect the light upwards to minimise glare) for the most attractive results.
