A rare pair of wall lamps, designed by Louis Kalff in the mid-1950s for Philips, Netherlands. They comprise two satin etched opal white glass shades (they have the earlier, unvented shades - later editions had holes in the top) that sit in black lacquered wire cradles that mount onto a screw or hook in the wall.
The lamps bear their original Philips-branded E27 Edison screw bulb-holders.
They will require rewiring before use.

Condition
Marks to the satin finish on the glass and to the lacquered finish on the metal, but generally excellent for age, and they display very well.
