A highly decorative antique table or desk lamp in the form of a branch with leaves and twigs, and two flowers to the base, made of polychrome painted wrought iron, with an orange and yellow pâte-de-verre glass shade. Neither component is marked, but the lamps was made in France, probably in the mid-1920s or thereabouts.

The lamp has been cleaned and rewired, with a brand new British-made patinated solid brass lamp holder and a generous length of new 3-core period-correct  twisted cable with an antique gold silk sheath.

The lamp accepts a single B22 bayonet bulb. It comes fitted with a UK 3-pin plug. International buyers should be able to readily and inexpensively source plug adaptors for their local sockets.
