An original near-antique art deco bankers’ lamp in chrome-plated pressed brass, with adjustable neck and shade, and switch to the base. It was made in France in the 1930s or thereabouts.
The lamp has been dismantled, cleaned, and rewired to electrical modern safety standards whilst maintaining its gently-worn patina and period look. With an earth tag concealed inside the body, the lamp retains its original brass lamp-holder, and has been rewired with new 3-core twisted cable with period-correct brown silk braiding.
The lamp accepts a single B22 bayonet bulb. It comes fitted with a UK 3-pin plug. International buyers should be able to readily and inexpensively source plug adaptors for their standard outlets.

Condition
Some rubbing to the chrome plate, a few knocks and dings to the lamp, and wear to the paint inside the shade, all of which you’d expect from a well-used lamp of its age. Clean, rewired, and ready to use.
