A small opalescent glass shade of traditional 'schoolhouse' form, with a patinated copper beehive-shaped gallery, dating to the 1930s, and probably English-made. Pendants of this size were often made for hanging in windows to replicate daylight, but this lamp would suit any small space - bathroom, pantry, etc - or would work as accent light in a larger space. The lamp has been rewired with a generous length of premium Italian-made 3-core cable with a white Rayon braid. The lamp accepts a B22 bayonet cap bulb.
