A vintage opaline glass pendant lamp with a large steel gallery, made in the 1950s in England. It was salvaged from a Lincolnshire pub in the 1970s, and was kept in storage since. The steel gallery once had a copper-coloured lacquer, but was incredibly rusty when we got it. The rust has been removed, leaving a pitted surface and a few remnants of the original finish that lend it an attractive industrial vibe. The metal has been sealed against further rust using museum-quality products. The lamp has been rewired with a generous length of vintage-style Italian cable with a mottled grey cotton braid. It accepts an E27 Edison Screw light bulb.
