A good sized 'Kungsmattan' woollen rug by Tabergs Yllefabriks, Sweden, produced during the mid 1950s to very early 1960s. At this time, Tabergs was a part of the Bra Bohag (Good Furniture) group - a consortium of Swedish home furnishing companies. The rug is plain field of very deep, dark red, with contrasting tassles to either end. It bears its original label to the verso, with the Bra Bohag logo that was phased out around 1962 - giving the age of the rug a specific cut-off date.
