A small vintage table lamp of opalescent (not uranium) glass with a diamond moulded pattern and applied streaky blue rigaree. It was made on the island of Murano, Italy, in the 1950s. The lamp has been sensitively brought up to modern safety standards with a vintage-style Bakelite bulbholder with built-in switch and a vintage-style twisted cable with a mottled grey linen braid, both premium Italian-made products. The lamp accepts an E27 Edison Screw bulb.
