A vintage pendant lamp of spun aluminium with a copper-coloured lacquer finish and an orange lacquered steel louvre insert, made in Denmark in the late 1960s by Prova Belysning.
The orange louvre prevents glare from the bulb, and directs most of the light downwards, making it ideal for hanging a little above eyeline level over a dining table or work surface, but it also works very well as a general light in a small-to-medium room.
The lamp has been dismantled, cleaned and rewired, with a generous length of premium Italian 3-core cable with an ivory Rayon woven braid. The lamp accepts an E27 Edison screw cap bulb.
The lamp bears its original factory label to the inside.
