A vintage 'Lichtdruppels' ('Light Drops') pendant lamp, model B-1285.00, produced by famous lighting firm, Raak, Netherlands, in the 1970s. It features a beautifully mouth-blown glass glove with large, flattened controlled bubbles and a firepolished rim concealed under a brushed metal 'monks cap' fitting. Inside, the bulb-holder is hidden with a matching metal tube. The lamp accepts a single E27 Edison screw bulb, and has been rewired with a generous length of premium Italian vintage-style twisted cable with a bold blue Rayon fabric braid. Would pair well with a 'crown silver' bulb or an opal globe bulb to reduce direct glare and showing off the shade to its best.
