An original vintage pendant lamp with a large bowl-shaped white acrylic shade and chrome cap and lamp-holder cover, probably made in Italy in the mid-1970s.
Large, but lightweight, it can work with with even the most tempramental of ceilings. The translucent acrylic shade allows for a diffuse uplight, especially when paired with a crown silver bulb, which would also give a softer downlight, ideal for hanging at eye level over dining tables and kitchen islands.
The lamp has been entirely dismantled, cleaned and brought up to modern safety standards with a new Italian-made Bakelite bulb-holder and a generous length of premium vintage style double insulated twisted cable with a contrasting blue Rayon braid, made in Milan. It takes one E27 Edison screw bulb.

Condition
As you'd expect, some minor age-related wear - very light surface marks to the acrylic, and light pitting to the chrome cap - but generally excellent and displays beautifully.
