An antique offhand blown opalescent glass tulip shade pendant lamp with a moulded ‘coquille’ design and applied trail rim in a soft pink colour. The shade was made in France, circa 1900-1920.
The small lamp would be effective as an accent lamp in a larger room, or the primary light source in a small room like a pantry or water closet, or as a traditional window light (hung in or in front of a window recess to emulate daylight).
It has been completed with a new solid brass gallery and a new solid brass B22 bayonet bulb-holder. It meets modern safety standards with a generous length of premium Italian double insulated 3-core cable in the vintage twisted style with a white Rayon fabric braid.
The lamp accepts one B22 bayonet cap bulb. Adaptors for other bulb types can be easily bought online.
