An antique oval wall-hanging wooden mirror with art nouveau gesso moulding decorated with an alternating combination of bright gold leaf gilding and matt gold lacquer to the frame. The frame is German or Austrian, and dates to around the 1920s.
The mirror plate and backing board are more contemporary. The mirror back has a small loop for easy hanging.
