An antique plafonnier pendant lamp shade of very thick and weighty satinated glass in a subtle grey-white opalescent glass, similar to Moonstone lighting by the Jefferson Glass Company, decorated with a Robert Adam style frieze of Grecian urns and floral swags, fluting and a flower boss to the underside.

It was produced at the turn of the last century by the Milverton Gaslight & Coke Company Ltd.

It is suspended by three short decorative brass chains, with three ornate bowl hooks, originally with gilding, but now most worn away.

The shade comes with no electrical parts, and will require a ceiling hook to suspend and use.
