A large vintage glass vase of tapering form and flared rim, made of opal white glass cased in clear. It was probably designed by Antonio Da Ros for Murano glassworks, Cenedese, in the late 1970s.
The narrow base and the wide, flared rim lend the vase a sense of dramatic precariousness, but the thin glass to the body and the thicker base create a physically stable, balanced shape.
Bears a foil factory label to the base.
