A classic piece by Norwegian glassworks, Hadeland, from the 'Nøstetangen' series, which revived old Norwegian designs and motifs. The series was introduced around the 1970s.
This footed kuttrolf decanter, or klukkflaske / cluck-bottle (so named for the noise it makes when pouring), was made using a traditional half-post method, and has been decorated in rigaree vines and berry prunts. Additionally, it has a stopper with pinched sides that mimic the tubes and chambers of the decanter proper.
