A large and scarce custard yellow pierced metal wall mirror with circular plate, illuminated from behind. It was most probably made by German lighting firm, Hillebrand, in the early 1970s.
Great as a sculptural statement piece and/or accent lamp, the mirror is also very practical by design, with the dish-shaped frame casting a flattering and even warm light forward onto its user.
The mirror accepts x5 E14 small Edison screw bulbs, and has been newly rewired (and earthed) with premium Italian-made cable. The mirror was designed to be hard-wired into a lighting circuit, but it could be plugged in with a trailing cable if required.
