A large and quite scarce original late 19th Century six-sided porch or hall lantern made of wrought iron, with decorative scrollwork and leaded glass panels. The lamp retains most of its original copper gas fittings, but has recently been professionally and sympathetically electrified to blend historical charm with modern functionality. It was bought in Paris, and is French on origin.

The lamp has all new wiring, a length of premium Italian double-insulated three core cable with decorative vintage-style mottled cotton braid, and a new British made solid brass B22 bayonet cap bulb-holder. The lamp comes with a 30cm length of old, thick, welded chain, and will need a ceiling hook for suspension.
