An imposing vintage studio pottery table lamp by renowned English ceramic artist, Bernard Rooke, in the late 1960s or early 1970s.
The lamp has been cleaned and rewired, with a new Italian-made Bakelite bulbholder with built-in switch and a generous length of premium vintage-style twisted cable with a black and white zig-zag rayon braid. The lamp accepts an E27 Edison Screw bulb.
Stamped 'Rooke' indistinctly near the cable exit hole.
