A vibrant vintage pendant lamp with pierced decoration to the rim of the shade and to the cap on top, decorated with a bright red lacquer to the outside and bright white to the inside. The lamp is very Italian in style, but the maker is unknown. Dates to the late 1970s or early 1980s. The wide, shallow shades and their 'retro diner' look makes it ideal for hanging over a dining table or kitchen island just above eye-level for a good even spread of downward light. For general room lighting, pair it with a crown silver bulb for glare-free illumination.

The lamp has been refitted with a modern earthed brass bulb-holder to bring it up to modern safety standards, and a length of premium Italian vintage-style twisted cable with a Rayon braid in a complementary shade of red.
