A classic art deco plafonnier 'flycatcher' shade of clear glass with a satinated finish and features an eyecatching design of two rows of abstract rose motifs surmounted by a zig-zag border and a sun-like pattern to the base, with rays that extend up and between the rose rows. Although unsigned, it is a known design by Jean Noverdy, France. Dates to the 1930s.

The shade is suspended on three good lengths of patinated bronze chain attached to three hooks with bronze finials.

This lot comprises the glass shade, three hooks, three lengths of chain. No ceiling hook or electrical components included.
