An original 1971 British poster from the exhibition "Covent Garden Royal Opera House - 25 Years of Opera and Ballet" at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, arranged by the Royal Opera House and designed by Alan Tagg.
Designed by British graphic designer and artist, Peter Branfield (1929-), the poster takes its visual lead from the printed programmes of the period, and features the royal crest of the Royal Opera House and the title of the exhibition in gold foil and the remaining text in, then, ROH standards, fuchsia pink and dark red.
