A scarce pair of small mid-late Victorian glass decanters, heavy, thick-walled and extensively decorated with a deeply cut repeating Gothic arch design; a motif replicated on the stoppers. Maker unknown, but almost certainly English in origin, and dating to 1870 or thereabouts.
Star cut bases.
Pair of c.1870 Victorian English Cut Glass Decanters with Gothic Arch Pattern
Condition
Minor staining to the very bottoms of the decanter – the inner walls are fine, and the decanters display well. Otherwise, excellent and free from damage.
