A pair of very heavy candlestick table lamps with decorative Rococo styling and a faux-ormolu lacquer finish, capped with two bronze-patinated brass lamp-holders. They were probably made in France in the 1960s, or thereabouts.

Each lamp has a safety-switched lamp-holder and has been rewired with a generous length of period-style twisted 3-core cable with an ‘old gold’ woven silk sheath.

The lamps accept a single B22 bayonet bulb. They come fitted with a UK 3-pin plug. International buyers should be able to readily and inexpensively source plug adaptors for their local sockets.
