A scarce matched pair of wall lamps with shades of alternating panes of green and smoke-grey glass on chrome-plated mounts. Made by Italian lighting firm, Veca, in the early 1970s. The lamps are similar in style to lighting by, and are often misattributed to, Fontana Arte, a giant of Italian post-war design.
The backing mounting plates of the two lamps are different, but present much the same from the front. Each lamp takes a single E14 Edison screw bulb, and has been rewired with a short length of brand new premium Italian double-insulated 3-core cable for hardwiring into a junction block on your lighting circuit.
Original foil label to the back of one lamp: ‘Veca – Made In Italy’.
