A scarce pair of cast iron and steel wall lamps with apostrophe-shaped backplates and conical, angled shade carriers, brass accents, and two angled glass shades decorated all over with a hatched pattern. The were made in the late 1950s, or thereabouts, by Danish lighting firm, Ernst Voss Belysning.
The lamps have been dismantled, cleaned and rewired, with new Italian-made Bakelite lamp holders and 3-core wiring to sympathetically bring them up to modern safety standards. The lamps can be hardwired into your lighting circuit, or can be used with trailing cables to a nearby socket.
Each lamp accepts a single E14 small Edison screw bulb.
One lamp has its original factory label to the verso.
