A vintage table lamp, model 3042, made of stoneware with a textured impressed triangle pattern all over the body, with a deep blue and earthy brown glaze. The designer is unknown, but is quite likely by Maria Philippi, c.1970-71. It was made by Søholm Stentøj, Denmark.
The lamp has been cleaned and rewired, with a vintage-style Italian Bakelite switched lamp-holder, and a generous length of premium Italian cable with a vintage-style blue braid. The lamp accepts an E27 Edison screw bulb.
Marked to the base, ‘Søholm Denmark – 3042 – Stentøj – Handmade’.
