An original vintage folded tin horse, made of sheet metal, bent and riveted into equine shape. Historically overpainted at least once, the last colour being a dark green, with extreme surface wear and rust, which adds further rustic charm to its already naïve form. Made in India, probably in the Kashmir region, in the 1950s or thereabouts.
A standout accessory for a mantelpiece or shelf – large enough to shine, but not large enough to dominate.
