A sophisticated vintage table lamp of hexagonal, tapering obelisk form, made of layers of laminated walnut cut at an angle to create an interesting geometric pattern around the lamp. Although late Art Deco in form, it was made in the 1950s or thereabouts, and is almost certainly English in origin.

The lamp has been professionally and traditionally restored with a shellac lacquer and waxed finish, and has been entirely rewired, with a generous length of vintage-style Italian 3-core cable with a period-appropriate mottled linen sheath, and a new British-made patinated solid brass switched lamp-holder.

The lamp accepts a single B22 bayonet cap bulb. It is fitted with a 3-pin UK plug.
