A large antique table lamp of pressed bronze with a strikingly modern and minimal underwater scene of coral and bubbles. It was made by German metalworks, WMF in the first decade or so of the 20th Century, and started life as a flower vase, and tastefully converted to a lamp some time in the 1930s.
The electrics have been completely overhauled and brought up to modern standards, with a new British-made patinated solid brass lamp-holder with safety switch function, a good length of premium Italian double insulated 3-core cable with vintage style mottled grey linen braid, and patinated brass cord grip. The lamp accepts a single B22 bayonet cap bulb.
