A vintage chalkware table lamp with an abstract sail-like raised decoration to the front and a hooped or ribbed neck, handpainted in a rich blue-turquoise with bronzed gold highlights. It was made in Britain in the early 1960s or thereabouts.
The lamp has been cleaned and rewired to bring it up to modern electrical standards, with a new British-made patinated solid brass lamp-holder with safety switch function, and a generous length of premium Italian 3-core twisted cable with a complimentary blue Rayon sheath. Supplied with a new 3-pin UK plug.
The lamp accepts a single B22 bayonet cap bulb.
