A scarce wall lamp designed by Louis Kalff in the mid-1950s for Philips, Netherlands. It comprises two tall satin etched opal white glass shades (they have the earlier, unvented shades – later editions had holes in the top) that sit in black lacquered metal cradles attached to a central wall-mounted box with a switch to the front.

The lamp bears its original Philips-branded B22 bayonet cap bulb-holder, and has its original wall-plate for mounting.

Can be hardwired into a lighting circuit or plugged in with a trailing cable from the bottom of the wall-mounted box. The lamp has been dismantled, cleaned, rewired, and is ready to install.
There are three identical sconces available.

  • Condition

The shades have a few very minor marks from use, and the black lacquer is not original, but has been professional restored. The lamp is otherwise in near-perfect condition.
