A large and relatively uncommon fully sculpted figural table lamp of a mariachi guitarist taking a siesta against a crumbling wall, with a large stylised cactus as a stem, hand-painted in bold colours, with some fine decoration to the mariachi’s clothes, and atomic starbursts to represent cactus spines. It was made by Jersey Pottery in the very early 1960s, and the model appears to have been titled "Dreams of Guadalajara".

The lamp has been dismantled, cleaned and rewired with a new British-made chromed brass lamp holder and a good length of premium Italian 3-core double insulated cable with a vintage style mottled grey linen braid.

The lamp accepts a single B22 bayonet bulb. Fitted with a new UK plug.
