A vintage table lamp made of mouth-blown and hotworked sommerso glass, with an inner core of pink, a secondary layer of pale blue, encased in a third later of clear glass, with sculptural lobes drawn out by hand whilst still molten. The lamp was made on the island of Murano in the late 1960s or thereabouts.
The lamp has been rewired with a switched solid brass lamp-holder and a good length of 3-core twisted cable with a period-style brown silk braided sheath. Supplied with a UK plug.
The lamp accepts a single B22 bayonet cap bulb.
