A vintage rise & fall pendant lamp with white laquered metal shades. Acquired in Copenhagen and possibly Danish in origin. It most likely dates to the mid-1970s.
The multi-shade design, similar to works by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, shields the bulb from most lines of sight and puts out a soft, flattering reflected ambient light and a strong downlight.
