A vintage pair of hand-carved wooden wall sconces in the Rococo style, with gesso and bright distressed gilt finish. They probably date to the 1950s, and are likely German.
The hang on the wall on a hook or screw, and are made for trailing cables that lead to a socket, rather than hard-wiring. Each sconce takes an E14 Small Edison Screw bulb. Will need rewiring before use.
