A nice example of post-war British lighting design – a model M62 drop-shaped table lamp in green cased crystal glass, designed by Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars, England, c.1962.
The lamp has been cleaned and sympathetically brought up to modern safety standards with a new British-made chrome plated brass switched bulb holder and a generous length of premium period-style Italian double insulated 3 core cable with an attractive and complementary green Rayon braid.
The lamp accepts a single B22 bayonet bulb.

Condition
Generally excellent with the most minor age-related surface wear. Because of the handmade nature of the lamp, the fitting isn’t fully level and has a bit of a ‘squint’, which would be readily offset by any standard adjustable lampshade.
