A very large and detailed wall-hanging crucifix of carved oak with neo-Gothic quatrefoil decoration and a beautifully observed corpus Christi, with attention paid to fine features like veins and tendons, cast in spelter and patinated to resemble bronze. French or German in origin, and produced c.1870.
